The Middle Class in Chicago is endangered, and neighborhoods like Garfield Ridge and Clearing are among the last stable middle class neighborhoods left. With the rising costs of private schools - and invasions of charter schools - it is more vital than ever that we have quality public neighborhood schools like John F. Kennedy High School. I am so proud of the great improvements we have seen at Kennedy these last six years I have been on the Local School Council - let's keep the momentum going.
